New website for the New Year

I’ve just about finished implementing the website redesign Anna Dickie and I have worked on, and it’ll be relaunched in January. It’s a flatter site structure, with the aim of achieving a ‘2-click max’ to navigate to the pages users need, and I’m simplifying the sales page to make ordering easier. Each Calder Wood Press author will have their own page, which will raise their search engine profiles, and they will be able to include their own optional content, as well as the details of their CWP titles. The background colour is different, and the site fonts are changed. All in all, it’s a comprehensive makeover. Here’s the new site banner:

I’m going to be busy over the next week or so, celebrating Christmas, my mother’s 90th birthday, and the visit of my brother and his family, plus my own family.

Have a great Christmas and New Year. See you in 2010.
