DunbarJane in theOrmiston Yew
Weeping apple tree in our own garden
Sounds a lovely walk. The Ormiston Yew is a fantastic tree isn’t it -it just sprawls everywhere, and inside it is like being in a grounded treehouse.I must visit the house, is it open all year round, or is it a yellow book thingy?
The house is a private one, a family dwelling, which the owners told us is just a “five-bedroom house.” I’m pretty sure it’s in the Scotland’s Gardens scheme, but I don’t think the house is open any other times. We were there by agreement as part of the East Lothian Walking Festival.
